Meet Dr. Eric Alston
Dr. Eric Alston was born in The Dalles, raised in southern Oregon and has always had an affinity for the dry side of the Cascades. After several years of being a partner in a large private practice in Medford, Dr. Alston moved to Bend in 2018 with his wife and 2 children. He attended Warner Pacific University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in human biology and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Oregon Health & Science University in 2013. Post-grad, Dr. Alston continued his education and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Portland.
Dr. Alston has spent the last 12 years practicing general dentistry in Oregon. He chose dentistry because he enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life, and the opportunity to establish long term relationships with his patients. His favorite thing is to see someone smile with their whole heart after a transformation, no matter how big or small.
Dr. Alston has achieved fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a graduate of the Kois Center, one of the most renowned continuing education programs for dentists in the country. Dr. Alston values providing exceptional care and has a deep passion for continuing education, he has completed more than 800 hours in multiple disciplines and continues to seek out any and every continuing education opportunity.
When he is not at the office, you can find Dr. Alston enjoying just about anything outdoors. He is always working on his fly cast, trying to stay upright on a mountain bike and keeping his skis parallel. He loves a good camping adventure with the family (including their german short hair pointer and black lab) more than just about anything, and will talk your ear off about all the fun things there are to do in central Oregon if you give him the chance.
